The communities we serve are severely plagued with blight, most of which is captured on vacant and abandoned parcels throughout these communities. “Nature is to be observed not disturbed” is our motto here at Rescue MI Nature NOW, Inc., as we look at these vacant parcels as opportunities to engage the community and nature.

As a Nonprofit organization in Michigan, we love transforming once abandoned parcels into productive landscapes. One of our most common transformations includes developing wildlife habitats. In 2019, our pollinator garden was certified as a Wildlife Habitat. In order to achieve this, we preserve native plant species and install pollinator treatments. This application increases the amount of naturally occurring pollinator visitors we already receive, like various bees and butterflies.”
